Updating a Member's Tax Profile in HUB

This guide will demonstrate the process of updating a member's Tax profile on the HUB platform. By following the steps outlined below, you will learn how to change a member's filing status and manage tax-related updates effectively.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Begin by Logging into Collective.com

Once logged in, ensure you are in the Hub V2. Go to the left section on the onboarding side.

Search for the Member

You can quickly find the member you need to update by typing their name in the search bar. For this example, we will be updating Schneider's profile.

Access the Member's Tax Profile

After locating the member, navigate to their tax profile to view the current filing status.

Update the Filing Status

To update the filing status, click on the pencil icon. You can change the status to a new option, such as "Married Filing Jointly," if the current status is "Single."

Save Changes

After making the necessary changes, ensure you hit the save button. The new filing status will be taken into account when the member receives their QTE

Handling Changes After Receiving QTE

If a member wishes to change their filing status after receiving their QTE, they will need to submit a recalculation request. Navigate to the taxes section and go to QTE to proceed.

Members who have submitted a recalc request will appear in the section where you can search for them. Click on their name to access their profile.

Refresh Calc Task

In the member's profile, navigate to the relevant section to refresh the calculation. Use the dropdown to select "Refresh Calc."
